On the morning of March 22, 2022, DTS Vietnam organized a ceremony to announce the appointment of management-level positions and the establishment of DEV Team 5. The ceremony was attended by the CEO – Nakatani Nobuhiro, Mr. Hoang Hai Nam – Head of the BPO department, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thi – Head of the DEV department, Ms. Nguyen Hai Uyen – Head of the GA department, and managers from various departments.

Strengthening the management team to enhance the independence and autonomy of the leadership is one of DTS Vietnam’s goals. In 2022, the organizational structure of DTS Vietnam underwent adjustments, with new appointments in the management team, particularly within the BPO department.

During the ceremony, CEO Nakatani officially announced the promotion decisions for the management level, specifically:

The appointment of Mr. Tran Dinh Dai, former Assistant Manager, to the position of Manager of the BPO department.

Expressing his feelings about the new position, Mr. Dai shared: “After 2 years, I stand here again to receive the appointment decision from the leadership. First of all, I must thank the leadership and the company for trusting and entrusting me with this significant responsibility. At DTS Vietnam, I have experienced various roles, from being a staff member to a team leader, and 2 years ago, I became the Assistant Manager. At that time, I was somewhat surprised and learned a hard lesson about the importance of a manager in guiding and directing, as well as understanding the employees. In 2016, when I was in charge of the 3D project, it was one of the projects that the leaders put a lot of effort into. However, after maintaining for a while, the team started to decline, and colleagues gradually distanced themselves from me. At that time, I didn’t understand why. But when I took on the role of Assistant Manager, I learned more, realizing that I also need to understand the feelings of the employees, and from there, I changed and supported my colleagues more in their work and life in general. In 2021, I received a lot of attention from the Japanese side regarding work and projects. Especially, in the past year, I learned a lot from the sharing about employee management from Mr. Nam and also received new projects from the leadership to enhance my management capabilities and professional qualifications. To stand here today, receiving the promotion decision – a prestigious reward that the company has acknowledged for my contributions – I am truly honored.”

With this new position for Mr. Tran Dinh Dai, the leadership and the company have high expectations for his knowledge and work experience. It is hoped that in this new role, Mr. Dai, along with the managers of the BPO department and DTS Vietnam in general, will steer the DTS Vietnam ship further, sustainably develop, and conquer new challenging goals.

Also within the framework of the appointment ceremony, the company’s leadership officially announced the decision to establish DEV Team 5. Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thi – Head of the DEV department, represented the leadership in announcing the decision and shared the purpose of establishing DEV Team 5.

A particular question that may be on the minds of DTS Vietnam members is “Why did the leadership choose the number 5 to name this new team?”

The reason is: “Choosing the number 5 for Mr. Tran Cong Phan Vinh’s team management. Firstly, for the Japanese, the number 5 is the number of Birth – an expansive, developing, and lucky number. Therefore, it is expected that DEV Team 5 can sustainably develop and conquer new challenges and technologies in the coming time. Secondly, the current personnel of DEV Team 5 consists of 5 official members, gathering outstanding individuals with top-notch technical skills in the DEV department, which is an advantage,” shared Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thi – Head of the DEV department.

Therefore, the leadership expects that DEV Team 5 can bring value to the company in two main goals:

Challenge and conquer new markets, starting with the Vietnamese market.

Handle difficult projects and new technologies.

With the leadership’s expectations, Mr. Tran Cong Phan Vinh – the direct manager of DEV Team 5, shared: “Before establishing DEV Team 5, Vinh’s group was part of DEV Team 1 – managed by Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, consisting of 5 members who have been together for a long time. In 2021, after receiving information from the company leadership about wanting to establish a new team specializing in new technologies, at that time, Vinh also felt that it was necessary to divide the team to provide more development space for the members. Therefore, Vinh received the task from Mr. Thi to lead DEV Team 5 into battles and challenges with many new projects, not only in the Japanese market but also in many other markets, especially the Vietnamese market. The team’s desire is to challenge with more new technologies, allowing the members to enhance their knowledge and professional skills, not standing still. In this way, the team can develop and reach further in the future.”

With the direction towards 2030, DTS Vietnam has set new goals and new challenges.

Therefore, the expectations for the management level are also higher. It is hoped that, in their new roles, the managers will lead DTS Vietnam members further, sustainably develop, and achieve the set goals.
